What is Bindi Enterprises?
Bindi is an organization that provides meaningful employment, training and vocational activities for people with disability or who are disadvantaged. Bindi recognizes that all persons have something of worth to contribute. We work alongside people to create opportunities for self expression, growth, skill building and personal development while also providing quality products and services for Alice Springs and the wider community.
What is the meaning of Mwerre Anthurre and how do I pronounce it?
Mwerre Anthurre, pronounced [Moor-a Un-thoor-a], means "beautiful art, made in proper way".
Where else can I purchase Bindi Art?
In addition to purchasing Bindi Art through this website, you can also find our artworks in selected galleries around Australia (check out the list of current and upcoming exhibitions). Alternatively artworks may be viewed and purchased direct from Bindi by appointment (contact us).

Caring for your artwork

How do I prevent damaging my paintings?
  • Cracks in the paint
    • always wrap around an appropriately sized packing tube (the thicker the paint layer or the larger the canvas, the greater diameter)
    • if the paint layer is too thick, it is better to protectively flat-pack
    • never fold
  • Torn canvas
    • always pack appropriately prior handling, shipping, transporting
  • Discolored, dark or faded surface
    • avoid exposure to direct sunlight, artificial light, humidity and extreme temperatures
How do I transport my paintings?
Make sure you follow the above care instructions.


What company do you ship with and do you ship internationally?
We ship with Australia Post using Registered Post within Australia and Express Post International (Registered Post International to countries where Express Post International is not available) postage outside Australia.
How do I track my order?
After your order is dispatched, you will received a shipment confirmation e-mail that includes tracking ID for your parcel. Go to http://auspost.com.au/track and enter the ID to see the status of your parcel.
How long will it take to receive my order?
We guarantee to post your order within 3 working days after payment is received. Delivery times will differ according to location. Being based in Alice Springs, this can take up to 10 working days (both in and outside Australia).
How much does shipping cost?
A flat rate of $20 is applied for all deliveries within Australia. International deliveries are charged between $27 - $75 depending on the destination.
Is my order insured?
You can insure your order at our Checkout page (in Shipping insurance section, check ‘I want my package to be covered by insurance’). Insurance is optional. For orders delivered within Australia, cost is $13 per $1000 of total value of the parcel and $30 per $1000 for international orders.
What if my order gets lost?
If your order has not arrived within 4 weeks after you received a shipping confirmation e-mail, contact us and we will endeavour to resolve the situation. All our parcels are registered, so you should always be able to track it online. To ensure the security of your order, we advise you insure your parcel (see above).


Does Bindi provide a Certificate of Authenticity?
Yes, a Certificate of Authenticity is provided for every artwork we sell. This and your invoice will be sent with your artwork.
How do you package artworks?
  • paintings are carefully wrapped in a protective layer of bubble wrap and shipped inside an Australian Post packaging tube
  • exceptions include paintings with a thick layer of paint that cannot be rolled, these will be sent in flat packs
  • each painting is carefully packed to avoid damage
Can I order my paintings framed?
We currently sell paintings online without frames. If you would prefer your paintings framed, let us know as this may become available in future.


What payment methods do you accept?
We support both credit card payments (MasterCard and Visa) and direct bank transfer (domestic and international).
How secure is your site?
We put maximum effort into securing all data that you provide us with. Whole checkout process on our website is via secure encrypted connection (HTTPS protocol) using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology, we do not store your credit card information in any form and we do not and never will provide any of your personal data to third parties.
